Wildlife Sighting

The weather is really warm today, and along with the human visitors there are some bugs out enjoying the last of the Omuro cherry blossoms.

Are bugs considered wildlife? Maybe not, but these bees seem large enough to count. Where I come from bees are not this large, I was a little shocked to see one so big. The few flying about are practically thumb-sized (pad of the thumb, not the whole length, granted). Sorry the picture doesn’t offer a very good hint of the size, you’ll just have to take my word for it. They seem much more interested in the flowers than the humans, though — so no need to worry!
