Goten Arrangement September 1st

This arrangement is done in the most unrestricted style called sōsakubana (創作花) or “creative style.” From the bottom up, are: cockscomb, Japanese gentian, millet, and Enkianthus perulatus. Enkianthus perulatus is a shrub native to Japan, known in Japanese as dōdantsutsuji. Millet (known as kibi) is edible and was commonly eaten in the past in place of rice, though most people do not eat it today.20110901-s1
